A father and son reunited with the help of social networking

A touching story with a happy ending. Any parent's nightmare of having a child kidnapped, as was the case with a little boy who was kidnapped three years ago in Shenzen outside his father's shop. His father appealed to public, and the police to find his son, but despite video footage of the crime, he was told by the police to forget about his campaign to find his missing son.
After contacting a journalist who posted the photo of the boy to a micro-blogging site (similar to Twitter) and someone posted a photo back of a boy who's 2,000km away. The father was re-united with the boy.
