Troubles of HK's Ngong Ping 360 Cable Cars

I didn't even notice this in the HK news at all, apparently hundreds of Hong Kongers were stranded on the cable cars on Chinese New Year's day. The HK government are even thinking of changing the operator as well. I've been on the cable car several times over the years, and it has been one of my favourite rides. With its displays of breathtaking views of Hong Kong's Lantau island, I even remember that one time when it was so foggy, it gave an eery feeling when no-one was talking and catching glimpses of the Buddha statue, now that was an experience.
