Vegetable scare in Hong Kong

As an island, Hong Kong depends heavily on import food, water, gas, etc. With the latest scare about illegal dumping of toxic chemical waste which contains traces of Chromium going into waterways feeding farmlands in Yunnan. Some of these farms supply vegetables to Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Water Supplies Department has cleared the water supplies from China.
